1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using Matedex, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you disagree, please do not use the application. These terms apply to both the Android app and this website, operated by Frenchy Apps.
2. Description of service
Matedex is an app for yerba mate enthusiasts that allows you to:
- check_circleLog yerba mate check-ins with ratings and tasting notes.
- check_circleCreate and manage your personal Top 5 of favourite yerbas.
- check_circleExplore and discover yerbas through the community.
- check_circleAccess guides on equipment, preparation and yerba types.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
3. User account
Registration
To use Matedex you need to create an account with a valid email address and password. You must be at least 13 years old to register.
Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities carried out from your account.
Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
Cancellation
You may delete your account at any time. We may also suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
4. User content
You own the content you post on Matedex (check-ins, notes, ratings). By posting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it within the platform and to other users.
You are responsible for ensuring your content is accurate, respectful and does not infringe third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content we consider inappropriate or in violation of these terms.
5. Prohibited uses
It is prohibited to use Matedex to:
- cancelPost false, defamatory, offensive or illegal content.
- cancelImpersonate any person or entity.
- cancelAttempt to access other users' accounts or platform systems without authorisation.
- cancelUse the app for commercial purposes without written authorisation from Frenchy Apps.
- cancelScrape, reverse-engineer or otherwise interfere with the operation of the service.
6. Intellectual property
The design, code, logos, text and other elements of Matedex are the property of Frenchy Apps or are licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute or modify any element without prior written authorisation.
7. Limitation of liability
Matedex is provided "as is" and "as available". Frenchy Apps does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the application.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you through the application of any significant changes. Continued use of Matedex after new terms are published constitutes acceptance of those terms.
